Family and friends remember Olive as a lovely lady whose presence brought joy and comfort to those around her. Known for her gentle soul and the happy memories created during her walks with her beloved dogs, she was a beloved figure in her community and among her friends. Her conversations, often filled with humour and warmth, brought smiles to many faces, whether at the nursing home, on her strolls, or during her time as a tour guide. Her legacy of kindness and friendship will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
Late of Newtown Mews, Tramore, Co. Waterford, and formerly of Bundoran, Co. Donegal, Olive Cassidy passed peacefully in Killure Bridge Nursing Home, surrounded by her family on Saturday the 31st of August 2024. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother Dick.
Olive will be sadly missed by her sister Rosemary and her brothers James and John; all her nieces and nephews, her extended family, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.
The Cassidy family extends their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Killure Bridge Nursing Home for the tender care and attention Olive received during her stay.

Olive will be reposing at Falconer’s Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, X91TW21, on Wednesday, the 4th of September, from 10 am to 11:30 am, concluding with a blessing before departing at 12 noon sharp for a private Cremation Service.
